Business Systems Analyst

The Business Systems Analysts provide quality functional and technical support to assist end users with their use of software applications and business systems. The successful candidates will also provide leadership, day-to-day task/project supervision, performance evaluation input, guidance and encouragement to application team and for the technical aspects of the application.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the user community to analyze existing business processes and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Partner with the user community to identify, analyze, and communicate new business requirements.
  • Configure technology solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Develop, document and perform system, integration, and user acceptance tests.
  • Provide support to customers.

Qualifications:

  • Required Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of business analysis techniques and practices
    • Knowledge of software applications / ERP systems
    • Basic knowledge of project management
    • Knowledge of software development lifecycle
    • Knowledge of information systems/information technology trends
    • Knowledge of customer service best practices
  • Additional Considerations:
    • Demonstrated experience as a business analyst
    • Excellent organizational and planning skills
    • Ability to apply and interpret user requirements, apply logical sequencing to improve or change business processes and rapidly learn computer software
    • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Basic Windows/desktop application experience
    • Interpersonal skills, including excellent oral and written communication skills, to include ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities
