Customer Service Consultant
About Viking
Viking provides roadside assistance in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland, and through our international partners we assist drivers all across Europe. Our mission is simple: ensure the safe and efficient mobility of vehicles and passengers, no matter where a breakdown occurs. We serve customers in Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Danish, and English.
The Role
We are now looking for two new colleagues to join our Málaga office in a role that is especially exciting: you will not only work as a Customer Service Consultant, but also contribute to starting up a new function in the office.
This means you will focus more on handling our own customers from beginning to end – including calls, emails, and invoicing – while ensuring they receive professional, proactive, and solution-oriented service. You will often be the first point of contact for customers in vulnerable situations on the road, but also play a key part in building up new workflows and driving improvements in this area.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Receiving and responding to phone inquiries from customers in need of roadside assistance
- Handling customer cases end-to-end: calls, emails, follow-up and invoicing
- Providing clear, calm, and solution-oriented guidance
- Collaborating with colleagues and partners across Sweden and Norway
- Taking an active role in building up this new function, shaping workflows, and developing processes
- Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and smarter ways of working
What We're Looking For
- Experience in customer service
- Fluency in Norwegian (spoken and written)
- Very strong writing skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Good understanding of Swedish (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Good knowledge of IT systems and technology
- A clean criminal record (mandatory)
- Responsible and proactive mindset, comfortable taking initiative and ownership
- Flexible, comfortable working against goals, and actively interested in improving processes
You'll thrive at Viking if you:
- Value strong work ethics and teamwork
- Communicate clearly, empathetically, and professionally (both spoken and written)
- Enjoy working both independently and in collaboration with colleagues across countries
- Are detail-oriented, goal-driven, and solution-oriented
- Adapt easily to change and enjoy a fast-paced environment
- Are curious and eager to learn
- Want to be part of a strong, supportive team culture
What We Offer
- Brand-new offices in Fuengirola, Málaga
- A supportive and collaborative work environment
- Comprehensive training and onboarding
- Excellent opportunities for professional growth
- Fixed schedule: Monday – Friday, with flexibility between 07:00–19:00
- Competitive salary and benefits
- Long-term contract
Start date: Sept/Oct
Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis – don't wait to apply!
We look forward to hearing from you!
