Location: Charlotte, NC

Shift: Full-Time Days (12-Hour)

Pay: $40.00/hr | Weekly Direct Deposit

VHS is seeking a dedicated RN ready to step into a full-time, high-impact day shift role supporting individuals in a residential detox setting. This is a unique opportunity to provide compassionate, skilled nursing care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team that values integrity, accountability, and clinical excellence.

What You'll Do

• Complete patient admissions within 2 hours of arrival
• Manage detox protocols and monitor for withdrawal symptoms
• Administer and document medications in Carasolva MAR
• Perform ongoing assessments and escalate concerns appropriately
• Support and lead shift handoffs, crisis prevention, and safety protocols
• Collaborate with LPNs, behavioral techs, and care navigation staff
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality standards

What You'll Bring

• Active NC RN license or multistate compact license
• AHA BLS certification (required)
• CPI or crisis prevention training (strongly preferred)
• 1+ year of experience in behavioral health, detox, or med/surg (preferred)
• Dependability, strong clinical judgment, and calm under pressure
