Role Overview:

As an OR Tech / Surgical Tech, you will play a critical role in assisting surgical teams during complex procedures, ensuring operating rooms are prepared, sterile, and efficiently managed. Your expertise will support a variety of specialties, including neurosurgery, spine surgery, orthopedic, and general surgeries, including Bariatrics. This position offers a vital opportunity to contribute to life-saving operations and gain valuable experience in diverse surgical environments.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of Surgical Tech experience
• Proven experience in Neurosurgery, Spine, Orthopedic, and Complex General Surgery (including Bariatrics)
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation
• Familiarity with Level I trauma and neuro procedures
• BCLS certification is mandatory
• EPIC system experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in ENT, GU, Plastics, or Burn surgeries
• Prior travel or agency staffing experience
• Additional certifications relevant to surgical support

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent
• At least 3 years of dedicated surgical technologist experience
• Prior experience with Level I trauma and neuro surgeries

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Call responsibilities (M-F 2100-0630; weekends 12-hour shifts 1900-0630)
• Travel and transportation reimbursements applicable
• Valid licensure and certifications required

This position offers an hourly pay rate of $55.90, with weekly pay via direct deposit.
