Respiratory Sales Representative

Are you a motivated sales professional with strong hospital relationships and a passion for improving patient lives through advanced respiratory care? VieMed is seeking a Respiratory Sales Representative to join our growing team. This field-based role (80%+ local travel) is ideal for individuals who:

  • Already have relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, or Critical Care Physicians
  • Possess hands-on experience with Mechanical Ventilation (NIV)
  • Excel in a fast-paced, competitive DME sales environment
  • Can confidently navigate hospitals and build trust with healthcare professionals

  • Building upon existing relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, and other referral sources to drive patient referrals.
  • Promoting VieMed's home ventilation and disease management programs to healthcare providers through presentations, education sessions, and clinical collaborations.
  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans to meet and exceed territory growth goals.
  • Partnering closely with internal Respiratory Therapists and operational teams to ensure a seamless patient transition from hospital to home.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of account activity, referrals, and sales performance.
  • Demonstrating a high level of motivation, persistence, and professionalism in a fast-moving healthcare sales environment.

Qualifications and experience required include:

  • Established relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, and/or Respiratory Care departments (required).
  • Experience with Mechanical Ventilation or Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) (required).
  • Proven ability to navigate hospital systems, influence decision-makers, and drive referral growth.
  • Minimum 2 years of successful healthcare sales experience, ideally in respiratory therapy, DME, LTACH, or critical care.
  • Formal sales training and/or prior clinical experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel extensively within territory.
