Account Manager Special Care (M/W/D)

The role and your tasks
Every day we face the challenge of making a difference in the world and the Account Manager Special Care (m/w/d) Berlin Ost, Halle, Harz, Magdeburg role will contribute to this:
- Independently planning, preparing and conducting indication-related specialist talks/visits to private specialist doctors in your area (Berlin-Ost, Fläming, Halle (Saale), Magdeburg, Magdeburger Börde, Mansfelder Land)
- Realizing the growth and sales targets for the respective relevant discussion products/portfolio
- Identifying and strategically caring for relevant customer groups and specialist doctors (currently neurologists, gastroenterologists, pain specialists) as well as specialized centers (MS outpatient clinics) and selected muco-outpatient clinics
- Building and maintaining relationships with regional and national opinion leaders while strictly adhering to legal requirements and internal rules
- Analyzing and actively shaping regional networks that influence the prescription behavior of the relevant target group
- Evidence-based, indication-specific consultation on products, services and therapy options in the defined area; target group-specific communication in accordance with AMG and internal compliance requirements
- Area-related implementation of the respective valid marketing and sales strategy (incl. discussion documents, relevant study contents, competitor environment)
- Active support in therapy changes and new admissions as well as ensuring stable patient care
- Positioning as a competent, scientifically based contact person in the specialist doctor segment for brand strengthening
- Planning, conducting and/or supporting regional and national scientific events (on-site/hybrid/digital) in accordance with compliance and internal requirements
- Consistent, timely documentation of all activities, sample deliveries and customer data, etc. in the CRM system (currently Veeva/Salesforce.com)
- Mandatory reporting of side effects (UAWs) within 24 hours in accordance with applicable legal and internal regulations
- Administrative tasks (e.g. invoices, expenses)
- Possible care of vacancies
Your skills and experience
For this role we are looking for a candidate who brings an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Several years of experience in the field of prescription drugs (Rx); ideally in specialist doctor field sales
- Approval as a pharmaceutical representative in accordance with Section 75 of the Drug Act (AMG)
- Science degree or medical-pharmaceutical background is advantageous
- In-depth knowledge of pharmacology of the relevant therapy areas (currently neurology, gastroenterology)
- Experience in specialist or specialist doctor field sales as well as in dealing with complex therapy areas is desirable
- High customer orientation, professional stakeholder management and ability to establish long-term relationships
- Strong sales skills, scientific argumentation skills and high sales orientation
- Analytical, entrepreneurial thinking including secure interpretation of regional market and supply data
- Team player with high self-organization, digital competence and structured working method as well as excellent communication skills
- Driving license class B
- Residence in the area to be served or nearby
- Good English skills desirable, for the use of international study and product information as well as for the facilitation of internal company communication
