A day in the life of an Account Manager & Marketing Support at The North Face looks a little like this. This is a dual role that has key responsibilities across that of Account Manager and Marketing Support. As an ambassador of the True Alliance Company within the New Zealand territory, the role's function is to manage a given territory to increase the sales & profitability of The North Face and carry out the brand's broader marketing objectives.

- Achieve budgeted sales revenue Maintain expenses within budget
- Complete and email Monthly Reports to Brand Manager and Marketing Manager.
- Participate in monthly conference calls, reporting to brand team on sales/marketing activity in your territory.
- Regularly complete expenses and submit to Brand Manager.
- Complete other ad hoc reports as requested by manager.
- Using Outstanding Order Report ensure every order can be shipped on time, in full, or is moved and/or amended to an appropriate date, by emailing Sales Admin and cc State Manager on a monthly basis.
- In conjunction with the NZ Country Manager, generate 3 objectives each quarter to improve or grow the brand in individual territory and/or the Account Manager him/herself.
- Own the execution of brand marketing initiatives across all major and independent wholesale accounts in New Zealand.
- Drive brand awareness with wholesale partners across all channels Build seasonal campaigns with wholesale partners where relevant Produce seasonal POP material in order to present the brand visually in the wholesale channel.
- Manage and execute marketing co-op requests efficiently, effectively and within budget.
- Distribute seasonal athlete kit to NZ based athletes and ambassadors. Complete promo orders and distribution of inline product to NZ based athletes and ambassadors.
- Maintain positive and productive relationships with local partners with guidance from the Head of Marketing including Cardrona & Treble Cone, Southern, Lakes Heliski, Adventure Consultants and Winter Games. Support local partnership activities in NZ including creative briefs, promo orders and event support.
What do you need to succeed?
We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you'll need to succeed and excel.
- A tertiary qualification in public relations, media, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- 12 months experience in marketing, events or social media, or related function at agency or internal marketing communications department
- Retail or sales experience of any sort (outdoor industry preferred)
