This internship will be approximately 12 weeks that includes both project-based and experiential learning. In conjunction with the project work, you will have the opportunity for professional development through training sessions, one-on-one support, and various networking events. Be part of Amgen's newest and most advanced drug substance manufacturing plant. The FleX Batch facility will combine the latest in single-use technologies with traditional stainless-steel equipment to allow for maximum flexibility in operations. The facility will feature the best in-class drug substance manufacturing technologies with embedded industry 4.0 capabilities, and it will integrate sustainability innovations to reduce carbon and waste.
Operations is one of three foundational functions at Amgen with a mission to manufacture and deliver safe and effective medicine to patients around the world. The Operations function is divided into the following five sub-functions: Supply Chain, Process Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and Facilities & Engineering. We are currently seeking highly motivated, hardworking individuals who will lead initiatives, strategic analysis, and business case development on projects across the Operations functions present at Amgen North Carolina.

The base pay range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $24.70 - $28.30 per hour.
