Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 3 yearsβ experience working on and troubleshooting PLCs, electrical components, and oilfield equipment required. Working knowledge of Direct Soft, Step 7, and Amphion software preferred. Land Rig experience preferred. Computer experience/proficiency required - Microsoft Office knowledge is required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Ability to pass a drug screen & background check. Valid Driver's license required β as you will be operating a company vehicle. Must provide transportation from home to the office. Transportation to customer's location will be provided. Must obtain NOV corporate credit card and maintain an active status per NOV credit card policy. Overtime will be required β must be willing & able to work nights, weekend, and on-call 24/7. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics required. Ability to troubleshoot electrical/electronic/control circuits required. Ability to utilize various electrical diagnostic tools including multimeters, oscilloscope, and basic hand tools required. Ability to interact effectively with customer and contractor personnel. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Able to work well in a team environment as well as self-directed when working independently. Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures. Must be able to work under pressure to achieve deadlines. Ability to meet or exceed standards as established by the department. Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties. Work in harsh environments including rain, snow, heat, and heights in excess of 150 feet.
