Customer Service Representative II - Pittsburgh, PA

Financial Record Services is part of Finance and Operations, under the CFO. The PPT Customer Service group is part of the Financial Record Services team.

Job Summary: Serves as contact for internal and external customers and responds to routine inquiries and needs. Resolves moderately complex issues and refers customers to appropriate personnel. Maintains records, details comments and complaints, and performs administrative duties.

Essential Functions:

  • Contact for faculty, staff, students, vendors, and others.
  • Responds appropriately to customer questions and issues; assesses needs and suggests solutions.
  • Troubleshoots and handles moderately complex inquiries and issues; refers customers to other departments when necessary.
  • Maintains accurate record of customer interactions and transactions; details all comments and complaints; tracks and gathers information.
  • Performs other general office and administrative duties.

Physical Effort: Little physical effort required. Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time. May be required to carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
