The ACAA's Airline Services Technician – Engineer will report to the Manager, Airline Services and assumes responsibility for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the conveyor systems and its ancillary equipment. Perform unscheduled repairs and major overhauls to the baggage system. This job requires the Engineer to work as a member of a composite crew in conjunction with Electricians and Mechanics.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee frequently works in hot/cold weather conditions and is frequently exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud. Employee may be assigned or scheduled to work all shifts at a 24/7 operation, seven days a week including holidays. Subject to remain on duty beyond assigned working hours to provide assistance during extenuating circumstances.
Medical Examination:
