Software Engineer

Remote Software Engineering Opportunity

Join a world-class team working on the cutting edge of information security. You will lead the development of automation solutions for security system deployments, upgrades, and management. Your role will involve designing and implementing automation to improve infrastructure efficiency, performance, and reliability. Additionally, you will enhance team productivity by automating routine tasks and orchestrating complex processes across various platforms, including Linux and Windows servers, networking devices, security appliances, applications, databases, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automation solutions to improve infrastructure efficiency, performance, and reliability.
• Automate routine tasks and orchestrate complex processes.
• Implement automation throughout the environment, including Linux and Windows servers, networking devices, security appliances, applications, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Drive improvements in configuration management, provisioning, software deployment, service monitoring, troubleshooting, security, and compliance.

Job Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python programming for building complex automation frameworks.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Expertise in Linux/UNIX systems and best practices for application deployment.
• Experience with container technologies and working with containerized software using Docker, Kubernetes, or Mesos.
• Ability to take ownership of features ranging from services provisioning on PaaS/IaaS, deployment automation/configuration, and Nodejs/Python application development.
• Experience in streamlining software development by contributing to the implementation of a continuous integration process and automating manual processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a 'take-charge' attitude in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Self-sufficient and able to work with minimal supervision.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $49.00 - $52.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
