Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Shipside Operations Specialist to support the Fabrication Aerostructures Support team based out of Orangeburg, South Carolina. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment, under deadlines. Candidates with strong project leadership, attention to detail, communication and collaboration skills will be a great fit. This position will provide critical production support for product deliveries including improving production efficiency, safety and optimizing product quality.
Use technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization. Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results. Assist organizations in identifying recurring and high impact issues. Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plan to address recurring and high impact issues. Facilitate ongoing coordination and tracking of open items. Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced teammates. Works under general direction.
3+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience 3+ years of experience with operations analysis or operations research 3+ years of experience with root cause analysis Analytical, communication, and problem solving skills
5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite 3+ years' experience in the aerospace industry. Experience working with customers
