At Palo Alto Networks, everything starts and ends with our mission: Being the cybersecurity partner of choice, protecting our digital way of life. Our vision is a world where each day is safer and more secure than the one before. We are a company built on the foundation of challenging and disrupting the way things are done, and we're looking for innovators who are as committed to shaping the future of cybersecurity as we are.
We believe collaboration thrives in person. That's why most of our teams work from the office full time, with flexibility when it's needed. This model supports real-time problem-solving, stronger relationships, and the kind of precision that drives great outcomes.
Prisma Access is Palo Alto Networks' cloud-delivered security platform that offers a highly scalable cloud service to address the challenges associated with sizing firewalls and resource allocation. It provides a seamless solution for organizations with distributed networks, minimizing coverage gaps and inconsistencies. By leveraging a cloud-based security infrastructure, Prisma Access enables the operationalization of security deployment for remote networks and mobile users.
As a Senior Engineer, your role will involve building and designing distributed backend services that serve as the backbone of our platform. You will have the opportunity to think broadly about all system components and carefully consider trade-offs for each design decision. Working with the latest cloud technologies, you will be responsible for integrating them with service APIs from different cloud providers and implementing development methodologies to achieve optimal outcomes. A foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) is increasingly vital for developing the next generation of predictive and resilient security solutions. In addition to backend services, you will also focus on developing and automating monitoring infrastructure, optimizing data collection, analyzing system disruptions, and creating solutions for improved reliability. This position presents a unique opportunity to take charge of the new product architecture, and build it from scratch. You will play a vital role in shaping the future of our product and contribute to its success in the cybersecurity industry.
