Senior Reliability Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team. This role involves developing, coordinating, and conducting technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts. You will work on the design of experiments (DOE) constructs to ensure product reliability meets required standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts.
- Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures to achieve required levels of product reliability.
- Conduct risk analysis studies of new designs and processes.
- Compile and analyze performance reports and process control statistics.
- Investigate and analyze variables potentially affecting product and processes.
- Ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards.
- Analyze preliminary plans and develop reliability engineering programs to achieve customer and governmental reliability objectives.
- Develop mathematical models to identify units, batches, or processes posing excessive failure risks.
- Propose changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability.
- Determine units and/or batches requiring environmental testing and specify minimum number of samples to obtain statistically valid data.
- Deliver and manage projects from design to implementation while adhering to policies.
Essential Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of reliability engineering and ability to conduct technical studies.
- Experience with design, ISO standards, and development processes.
- Strong analytical skills to compile and analyze performance reports and statistics.
- Proficient in conducting risk analysis and implementing corrective measures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior internal and external customers and vendors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- University Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Practical knowledge of project management.
- Experience in new product development.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
