Security Architect

Responsible for the planning, design, and build of security architectures; oversees the implementation of network and computer security and ensures compliance with corporate security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Expert planning, design, and build of security systems, applications, environments, and architectures.
• Overseeing the implementation of security systems, applications, environments, and architectures.
• Ensuring compliance with information security standards and corporate security policies and procedures.
• Evaluating existing and proposed technical architectures for security risk.
• Providing expert technical advice to support the design and development of secure architectures.
• Recommending security controls to mitigate risks.
• Determining best practices for the large-scale Big Data infrastructure used by some Oracle LOBs.
• Leading incident management teams and providing expert-level incident management expertise.
• Coordinating incidents with other business units and acting as incident commander on multiple serious incidents.
• Leading development of new methods, playbooks, and providing thought-leadership related to incident management throughout Oracle.
• Investigating purported intrusions and breaches, and overseeing root cause analysis.
• Training and mentoring other staff, and supervising incident management teams.
• Researching, evaluating, tracking, and managing information security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Leading development of highly sophisticated scripts, applications, and tools.
• Providing counsel and guidance to junior level security operations engineers.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
