Sales Engineer

Insight Global is hiring a Sales Engineer on behalf of a telecom client in Charlotte, NC. The Sales Engineer will specialize in carrier and wholesale telecom sales and will be responsible for go-to-market sales support, fiber planning and TAM analysis, and collaborate with engineering, construction and operations teams.

Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
• Strong understanding of telecom architecture and service delivery for Carrier and Wholesale markets.
• Knowledge of Layer 1–3 network technologies
• Experience with fiber route design
• Experience working with or selling to Carriers, MSOs, Hyperscalers, WISPs, or Electric Co-ops preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to design and communicate complex network solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
