The Principal Software Engineer will be a member of the Spacelabs R&D Engineering Team working on the development of Spacelabs Patient Monitoring and Connectivity (PMC) products. This position requires a deep understanding of solid design and development practices and the ability to apply those to Spacelabs' product development. The person will be accountable for developing and delivering software that supports the next generation of PMC products and existing PMC products. They will work with other cross-functional members to provide technical software level expertise and solutions to engineering problems. A key element of this role includes advocating for and designing products that meet the functional, performance, and cybersecurity needs of our customers. A strong systems approach to product development will be necessary in this role. You will spend your time as a hands-on engineer and a technical leader. Our team plays a key role in building software products and features. You will use a wide range of technologies, programming languages, and systems. You will be involved in the architecture/design of new features and functionality, as well as the development, implementation, and testing.
This is a hybrid position requiring employees to work 3 days/week at our headquarters in Snoqualmie, WA.
