Patient Services Representative - Dermatology

Job Opportunity

Performs receptionist, registration, and clerical duties associated with delivering patient care with focus on excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include welcoming patients and visitors, managing patient scheduling, check-ins, and check-outs, accurately verifying and updating patient demographic, insurance, and billing information, collecting co-pays, deductibles, and other payments as needed, answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and directing messages appropriately, working collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff to maintain smooth operations, and maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with HIPAA and MaineGeneral policies.

Qualifications include customer service or healthcare office experience preferred, excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to adapt to changing schedules and work in a team-oriented environment, and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.

Scheduled weekly hours: 32. Scheduled work shift: Not exempt.
