What will you be doing in this role? The Pathology Customer Service Representative is often the first interface with the department's customers. The position acts as a client advocate to assist them in the resolution of problems, to communicate patient test results and laboratory information, and to accept and respond to complaints. Responsibilities include the generation and distribution of reports, calling of Critical and Toxic Values, handling of add-on requests, requisition review, assisting the billing department, and participation in division problem solving and process improvement. Performs all job duties with sensitivity and attention to the age and developmental issues of the patient populations(s) being served.
