By reclaiming and reusing materials, Cat Reman helps reduce waste, conserve resources, and lower greenhouse gas emissions—delivering cost-effective, high-performance aftermarket parts backed by Caterpillar's warranty. The Caterpillar Specialized Commercial Solutions (CSCS) team utilizes a Cat Reman engine to build and sell a Cat genset with reman engine to customers globally.

Role Summary

As Operations Manager within CSCS, you will play a key role in delivering solutions that help customers build a better, more sustainable world. This position is responsible for managing the planning, organization, and implementation of programs that drive operational excellence and sustainability. This is an opportunity to lead our regional operations with our internal and external business partners. This role is offered on a 2-year contract basis.

What You Will Do

Oversee operational processes and procedures, ensuring they run smoothly while monitoring the productivity and performance of the supplier team. Manage all aspects of operations, you'll set clear deadlines, assign responsibilities, and track progress to keep initiatives on schedule and within scope. Review and validate genset assembly materials, deliverables, methodologies, and procedures, making sure everything meets Caterpillar's high standards. Support final assembly testing and troubleshooting of any issues throughout the assembly process. Configuring and programming Genset Control systems.

Skills You Will Require

Flexibility and Adaptability: Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques to handle change effectively and remain comfortable in dynamic environments. Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers. Project Management: Ability to plan, organize, and oversee projects to ensure objectives are met efficiently.

Job Requirements

Engineering/technical degree or relevant technical genset experience Broad understanding of generator set assembly and operation. 5 Years of experience with genset OEM or service provider will be highly regarded Proficiency both in English and in German (spoken and written).
