Insurance Servicing Representative Opportunity

TEKsystems is currently seeking career-driven candidates interested in an Insurance Servicing Representative opportunity with a successful insurance institution in the Troy Michigan Area. Experience + 1-3 years of customer service in a call center environment or extensive customer service experience + Ability to communicate effectively over the phone + Ability to navigate multiple screens and tasks effectively + Collections experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Handling about 35-40 inbound calls per day, sometimes more and sometimes less, depending on how long each call lasts.
• Responsible for handling inbound calls pertaining to insurance servicing questions.
• Receive questions from borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions.
• The candidates will be cross-trained to handle all calls eventually.
• The insurance questions will pertain to home owners insurance and will be from borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions.
• The CSR must be able to multi-task between various systems to research and document the phone calls.
• The CSR has to respond quickly and accurately ensuring that both our internal and external standards are being met on a consistent basis.
• Problem solving and problem resolutions skills are required as well as the ability to handle all calls in a professional manner.

Hours:

• Start Date: September 29th
• Training: 9:30am - 6pm shift, Monday-Friday (First 30 days fully ON-SITE for Training)
• After Training: 10:30am to 7pm Monday-Friday (HYBRID)
• No time off for the first 6 Weeks (9/29 - 11/7)

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
