The purpose of this position is to provide technical and administrative support to Human Resource office in various areas including transactions, recruitment, interview scheduling, pre-employment checks/references, onboarding and benefits. Provide administrative assistance to Business Office including serving as back-up receptionist. This position is located in Willmar or Marshall and may have the flexibility to telework, work a hybrid schedule, or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor.

One (1) year of experience performing a variety of program support functions such as human resources or payroll. Experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience interpreting and applying collective bargained contract language sufficient to answer employee questions pertaining to bargaining unit contracts.
Experience with SEMA4 or an equivalent large HR information system.
Experience applying federal, state and or employment contract language, personnel rules, personnel and payroll policy and procedure as it pertains to employee transaction, payroll and benefit processes.
