HR Investigator
The HR Investigator is responsible for conducting full-cycle, thorough, and timely high-volume employee relations investigations company-wide, across all lines of business and geographies. The HR Investigator will document findings and will make legally sound recommendations in line with business objectives, including analyzing case data and trends to make recommendations for intervention and improvement.
The following states are currently paused for sourcing new candidates or for new relocation requests from current caregivers: California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington.
Essential Functions
- Independently conducting thorough and objective Employee Relations investigations falling within the scope of the company HR Business Partner group.
- Conducting interviews and preparing accurate and comprehensive documentation including findings and recommendations for corrective actions, with a keen understanding of potential regulatory, policy, or legal implications.
- Collaborating and consulting with HR, Legal, Compliance and other cross-functional teams including internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely, consistent and thorough investigations.
- Interpret policies and procedures, incorporating knowledge of state and federal employment laws, as well as regulatory concerns specific to healthcare, and provide recommendations and review of potential corrective action, where appropriate.

Qualifications
- Prior experience in a named Human Resources or Employee Relations role with accountability for employee investigations, including evidence collection, document review, analysis, and interviews, while maintaining objectivity and ensuring confidentiality.
- Prior experience tracking, prioritizing and driving multiple concurrent investigations in a high-volume environment.
- Strong working knowledge of state and federal employment laws, including but not limited to: FMLA, ADA, FLSA, NLRA, and Title VII.
- Prior experience in healthcare labor & employee relations-specific workplace investigations (preferred).
- Prior experience working with high-volume casework within the ServiceNow ER platform (preferred).
Physical Requirements
- Ongoing need for employees to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
- Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors that require employees to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $38.55 - $59.49
