Growing New York City organization is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their team. This role involves managing diverse human resources functions, supporting talent acquisition, and fostering employee engagement. The ideal candidate will contribute to the smooth operation of HR processes while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day HR functions, including payroll processing, onboarding, employee engagement, and benefits administration.
• Collaborate with executive and operations teams to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
• Lead talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes.
• Maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations, ensuring all HR practices adhere to standards.
• Oversee the management and maintenance of the HR Information System to ensure data accuracy.
• Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs to ensure employee satisfaction and alignment with company objectives.
• Handle employee relations matters, providing conflict resolution and fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in HR roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of human resources practices.
• Proficiency in using HR software such as ADP Workforce Now.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple HR tasks efficiently.
