Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team. MCCS is a comprehensive program dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. Responsibilities include:

  • Setting up food service counters and side service stands with hot and cold food and beverages.
  • Assisting customers in the selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages and whole bean sales.
  • Providing quality beverages and food products consistent with established recipe and presentation standards.
  • Using suggestive selling techniques to sell associated products.
  • Serving food and beverages in standard portions.
  • Cleaning and maintaining customer service areas and equipment.
  • Performing preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Following store policies and procedures for operational flow.
  • Adhering to safety regulations and standards.
  • Supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.

Requirements include:

  • Skills to perform tasks with several steps and use judgment in the performance of sequential tasks.
  • Ability to serve uniform individual portions and avoid distractions.
  • Ability to perform simple arithmetic and read and follow instructions.
  • Working knowledge of common sanitation procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Light to moderate physical effort, including lifting and carrying objects.
