Field Service Engineer I

This opportunity is for a Field Service Engineer I with a work location in Pascagoula, MS. Testing cables onboard ships - ringout Multi Pin, Fiber Cables and TDR RF Cables, etc. Grooming C4I Systems and performing official tests in front of government (OSR). Troubleshooting C4I Systems using test equipment, technical manuals, and drawings. Using Word - correct C4I test procedures.

Requirements: Four plus (4) years with military communications.

Desired Skills: Perform testing of trouble shooting and operation of C4I Equipment. Proficient in the operation of Cryptographic Equipment. Proficient in the operation and use of basic Test Equipment. Proficient in using Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. Able to develop test procedures in Word. Able to read cable diagrams and equipment schematics.

Clearance Information: SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET ELIGIBILITY.

Travel Requirements: Must be willing to travel 25 percent of the year.
