The fabricator will perform essential duties in reading and interpreting blueprints and operations sheets to determine necessary operations. This role involves completing various assembly responsibilities, including bending, punching, shearing, drilling, tapping, grinding, burring, and counter burring. The fabricator will fabricate, assemble, fit, and weld components as per blueprints, check material stock and availability, and build prototypes. They will also utilize inspection gauges such as micrometers, verniers, and combination squares to ensure precision. Additionally, the fabricator will report any equipment malfunctions, adhere to company policies and safety procedures, and maintain a clean and safe workspace.
This is a contract to hire position in a company that values long-term employment, as evidenced by many employees having tenures of over 10 years. The company offers an additional $100 bonus on paychecks for perfect attendance each month, fostering a culture of dedication and reliability.
This position operates on a first shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with work every other Saturday. Attendance is crucial, particularly within the first 30 days. The work environment emphasizes the importance of punctuality and reliability.
