Equipment Engineer

As an Equipment Engineer, you will provide expert technical assistance and support to the Food & Beverage Group, specifically in the areas of chemical handling, dilution, and safety. You will oversee all aspects of equipment and engineering-related issues for the Food Group.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee start-up and commissioning activities for equipment installations, whether completed by internal employees or external installation partners.
  • Monitor project performance against established goals and initiate corrective actions when performance is below expectations or issues arise.
  • Ensure all documentation, including spare parts lists, drawings, and other technical documents, comply with contractual agreements, customer expectations, internal standards, and legal requirements.
  • Conduct training for customer employees based on contractual agreements, ensuring proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Train internal colleagues (service and sales teams) to guarantee efficient maintenance and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Food-related disciplines).
  • Experience in the Food and Beverage Industry.
  • Proven experience in technical project sales, including proposal creation, presentations, and closing deals.
  • Familiarity with CAD software.
  • Engineering project management experience, particularly within the food and beverage industry.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $83,500.00 and $139,100.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
