Join our dynamic Test Engineering Department, where we design and fabricate equipment used in the development and manufacturing of tactical hardware. We are currently seeking early-career Sheet Metal Fabrication Technicians to support the fabrication of electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies based on engineering drawings. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are passionate about precision metalwork and custom fabrication.
+ Fabricate custom sheet metal chassis and electro-mechanical assemblies from engineering blueprints. + Interpret and apply knowledge of metal stretch, bend radius, and material types to ensure accurate fabrication. + Collaborate with Engineers, Draftsmen, Procurement, Quality Inspectors, and fellow Fabricators to support project goals. + Operate within a fast-paced fabrication environment using various computer-based systems to track job status, quality inspections, and engineering changes. + Support the fabrication of test equipment using layout drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and engineering manuals. + Communicate design or process-related issues to management and design engineers. + Potential to cross-train and operate CNC machines and lathes.
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication environments. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings. + Experience creating custom metal chassis and understanding metal stretch and bend radius principles. + Familiarity with fabricating test equipment based on engineering documentation. + Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.

This is a contract position based out of Orlando, FL.
The pay range for this position is $38.89/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
