Electrical Engineer
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role involves working closely with test assemblies, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PCB soldering and testing, and a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles.
Responsibilities:
- Perform debug and test assemblies to the component level using block diagrams and schematics.
- Maintain and upkeep testing equipment.
- Troubleshoot operator problems effectively and collaborate with leadership on training and process improvements.
- Provide training and ongoing support to Test operators.
- Communicate problems to Test Engineer and/or leader.
- Assist in experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis.
- Recommend additional equipment needs for product debug areas to leadership and/or Test Engineers.
- Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities.
- Comply with all company security policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Work on problems of limited scope by following standard practices and procedures.
- Learn to use professional concepts and apply company policies to resolve routine issues.
- Receive detailed instructions on all work.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in soldering, assembly, and electrical engineering.
- Experience with schematics, troubleshooting, and electronics.
- Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Ability to debug circuit boards and test electronic components.
- Skill in utilizing basic hand and power tools.
- Minimum of 1 year experience soldering on PCBs.
- Minimum of 1 year experience testing PCBs.
- An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Understanding of wiring and blueprint reading.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
