Bayada Home Health Care is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join the team in Cooperstown, PA. Bayada's special needs caregivers work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to help them reach their full potential. We are looking for a DSP who can work a flexible schedule in Cooperstown, PA.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Companion Services
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities
• In-Home and Community-Based Support
• Support the client's goals towards independence in the home and community
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Community Participation Services
• Participate in community integration activities to focus on socialization

Compensation & Schedule:

• Competitive pay rates of $18.50 per hour with a weekly pay schedule
• Flexible scheduling (part-time, various shifts)
• Short commute times (we try to match opportunities within 30 minutes near your home)
• Options for mileage reimbursement

Qualifications for Our Support Professionals:

• One or more years of experience working with intellectual and development disabilities
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Ability to transport clients to community activities
• Must be comfortable with cigar smoke
