Direct Support Professional (DSP) Opportunities

The ideal candidate would have availability between the hours of 7am-11pm (any days of the week) or 3pm-7am (any days of the week). Typically we work 12 hour shifts, with 8 hour shifts opening occasionally. Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) have the opportunity to support and encourage individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to reach their goals, develop friendships, enjoy unique life experiences, and become independent along the way! Job Duties of a DSP/CAREGIVER include:

• Household Management (cooking, cleaning, etc)
• Personal Care
• Achieving Goals (employment, life skills, social interactions)
• Promoting Health and Wellness
• Community Activities (movies, putt-putt, medical appointments, grocery shopping, etc.)
• Transportation (ability to obtain F-endorsement after hire), use of company vehicle on duty for client's transportation needs
• Accurate Documentation and Communication Skills
• Ability to work as a member of a team
• Basic Computer Skills-will document daily on computer and punch in/out and company communication

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid TN Driver's License (ability to obtain F-endorsement)
• Successfully pass Drug screening and Criminal Background Check
