As a Direct Support Professional at ResCare Community Living, you play a crucial role in helping us provide compassionate care to our clients. Responsibilities include performing personal care tasks, assisting with fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates, ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment, and encouraging self-help activities. You will also accompany clients to scheduled appointments.

Qualifications include being 18 years of age or older, having a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in a group home, home-like setting. You must also be able to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of personnel.

ResCare Community Living, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, has five decades of experience in the disability services field, providing support to individuals who need assistance with daily living due to an intellectual, developmental, or cognitive disability. We provide a comprehensive range of high-quality services, including community living, adult host homes for adults regardless of disability, behavioral/mental health support, in-home pharmacy solutions, telecare and remote support, supported employment and training programs, and day programs.

Salary Range: USD $10.25 - $10.50/Hour
