Advanced Field Service Engineer
As an Advanced Field Service Engineer, you will perform maintenance, audits, configuration, programming, installation/commissioning, upgrades, and migration of complex/advanced Honeywell Distributed Control Systems (EXPERION PKS, TPS/TDC300). Key responsibilities include:
- Periodic communication with customers regarding technical and administrative DCS issues.
- Provide customer support on Honeywell Control Systems and serve as customer contact for service-related issues/inquiries.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Honeywell hardware, networks, and software including Experion PKS, LCN, and TPS.
- Upgrade TPN and Experion software from one software release to another software release on the live control system without causing any interruption to the customer's industrial process.
- Migrate Legacy Honeywell control systems to Honeywell's new technology offering.
- Develop the skills and talents of other engineers through guidance and on-the-job supervision.
- Understand customer key processes and economic drivers and translate those into business opportunities, providing timely research and recommendations.
- Assist Sales during sales pursuits.
- Be the face of Honeywell to end-users, and competitors.
- Learn end-to-end product/solution development and delivery/execution of Honeywell products and solutions.
- Use technical expertise of complex Honeywell solutions/product offerings to enhance customer experience.
- Actively interface with customers at all levels. Ensure customer satisfaction through oral and written communication.
- Publish reporting to customers including service reports and monthly performance reports.
- Provide occasional vacation coverage and 7 X 24 emergency support to customers and other Field Service Engineers.
You must have:
- 5+ years of related Field Service Engineering work experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to travel > 50%.
- Honeywell DCS and networks: Experion PKS hardware & software, in addition to TDC2/3000.
