Sr. Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to join their team for an initial 3-month engagement which will likely extend well into 2026. This role is supporting an app which is a relationship tracker to ensure we do not cross run into any compliance risks based on the services they provide their end-clients. A lot of what this Cloud team is focused on today is assessing their current cloud environment, leading with the right approach, and setting up best practices. This platform was built for the cloud, it's fully automated w/ terraform, mongoDB on the back end and presents an awesome opportunity to join an great organization with strong leadership. Some challenges in today's environment are that has historically leveraged a larger number of 3rd party vendors and that ownership piece has gotten further away from us. That said, they are bringing more of this in-house to have more ownership. In addition, their dev partners have been implemented a lot of terraform which has caused issues with production releases and therefore they are scaling that aspect back from those development partners and ensuring their local cloud team is doing the advance terraform modules and incorporating more of the back-end infrastructure pieces including security parameters.
