Here's how it works:
Paid Training Assignments: SCSEP matches eligible jobseekers with local nonprofits and public agencies (such as day care centers, senior centers, schools, and hospitals) for paid training assignments.
Benefits:
Eligibility: To apply for a training assignment, you must be age 55 or older, unemployed, and living on a limited income.
Positions include but are not limited to: Administrative-Clerical. Custodian-Building Maintenance. Customer Service Representative.
