Aerotek is currently hiring for a Building Engineer in McLean, Virginia! As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing building systems, with a focus on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and life safety systems. You will perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot systems to ensure all work meets safety codes. Reporting to the Chief, you will document modifications and repairs in the CMMS and operate HVAC systems, adjusting building automation systems as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair building systems including plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and electrical.
• Ensure all work performed complies with safety codes.
• Report modifications and repairs into the CMMS for review.
• Operate and adjust HVAC systems and building automation systems (BAS, EMS, ATC).
• Monitor subcontractors' responsibilities in maintenance or repairs and conduct quality control.
• Be available for 24-hour on-call duty, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and respond to emergencies.

Essential Skills:

• Commercial building experience, including high-rise maintenance.
• Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Proficient knowledge and troubleshooting capability of all types of commercial building systems.
• Knowledge of energy management systems and building VAV systems.
• CFC Universal certification required.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $62000.00 - $83200.00/yr. Incentive program 401k match.

Workplace Type: This is a fully onsite position in McLean, VA.
