Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer

Location: Whippany, NJ

Job Type: Full Time with Benefits

Design and implement serverless applications using AWS Lambda API Gateway and other AWS services.

Develop backend services and automation scripts using Python and Golang.

Build and maintain CICD pipelines for cloud deployments.

Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of cloud-based solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application issues.

Ensure security and compliance best practices are followed in cloud deployments.

Preferred Skills:

AWS certifications eg AWS Certified Developer

Experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing

Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools eg Datadog ELK Prometheus

Exposure to Agile Scrum methodologies

Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance, and optimization of software solutions/applications.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $86,129 to $127,189 Per annum

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.

The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law. The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction. It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
