What You'll Do

  • Understand what motivates retail customers, what drives their industry, and how to address their evolving technology needs through Oracle Data and AI Platform solutions.
  • Foster long-term strategic relationships within select, high-profile enterprise retail account.
  • Build a robust, qualified pipeline and manage strategic, customer-centric account planning, ownership, and forecasting.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and influencer in customer decisions to buy, architect, and adopt Oracle's Data AI and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions.
  • Collaborate across Oracle's broad ecosystem—including key technology partners—to enable retail customer transformation and sustainable capabilities.
  • Cultivate client relationships by building trust, partnerships, and a strong connection to the Oracle brand and team.
  • Establish executive relationships with key decision makers, including C-level leaders.
  • Articulate the value of Oracle's unified, multi-pillar offerings, emphasizing the impact for retail organizations.
  • Drive sales and business development initiatives to expand visibility and market presence of Oracle Data and PaaS solutions in the retail space.
  • Successfully prospect, discover, and develop new selling opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Lead complex sales cycles, leveraging internal support from Pre-Sales, Product Management, Executive Leaders, and Industry Business Units.
  • Travel as needed; some remote/virtual work flexibility is available.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Experience selling to C-suite, engineering, and DevOps leaders in large enterprise environments, preferably within retail.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit; thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Creativity, solutions orientation, and inventiveness in customer engagements.
  • Team-oriented with a track record of successful collaboration.
  • Proven success selling Data Platform, IaaS, PaaS, and/or database solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud tools and platforms (such as MongoDB, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, GCP, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux, Java).
  • Demonstrated results in selling complex technology solutions and exceeding expectations.
  • Strong commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
  • Confident, driven, and passionate about helping retail organizations achieve digital transformation.

Responsibilities

Primary job duty is to sell technology software products and related services in a defined territory. Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities. Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support. Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Builds and expands business partner revenue and self sufficiency.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $113,100 to $185,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45/55.
