The Advanced Practice Provider (APP), Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) including Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), works in collaboration with the physician in the hospital-based inpatient and outpatient settings. This role will be primarily in the outpatient setting. The APP is expected to perform invasive procedures and requires a high level of independent clinical decision-making.
