UPS Field Service Engineer/Technician

Location: Norway – Field based. Strong project pipeline along the southern corridor (Oslo, Skien/Porsgrunn, Prestestranda/Drangedal, Kristiansand), with nationwide travel and overnight stays expected at least 50% of the time.

Schedule: Full-time, with participation in a 24/7 on call rotation.

We're looking for an experienced, solutions oriented service technician in UPS and electrical power to join our growing service team in Norway. In this role, you'll work on service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of UPS systems, battery systems, and main switchboards for customers across data centres, industry, healthcare, and other critical infrastructure.

What We're Looking For

Essential requirements

• Trade certificate as an electrician (Gr. L) or energy installer
• Experience with UPS, backup power, electrical power, or switchboard systems
• Good understanding of electrical distribution systems and main switchboards
• Driving licence (category B)
• Good Norwegian and English skills, both spoken and written
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner

Nice to have

• Experience from data centres or other critical environments
• Experience with commissioning and testing
• Familiarity with battery systems and emergency power
• Experience with thermography or electrical inspections
• General IT understanding and experience with digital reporting systems
