Vertiv are seeking to recruit an ambitious and motivated student to join our team at our office in Burnfoot, Donegal.

The successful candidate will be in full time third level education where they must take a 1 year placement in industry. Responsibilities

Reporting to the Department Head this position presents an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to BIM & Digital Engineering software, processes & being apart of the team in the Design & Delivery of Engineering Products in the Busbar department contributing to the ever-growing Data Center & Construction Industry.

The main remit of the role will involve working with BIM & Digital Engineering Coordinators to support ongoing BIM projects utilizing industry leading software like Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) & contributing to the overall BIM & Information Management efforts of the department.

You will also have the opportunity to move around departments like Project Management, R&D and Mechanical/Electrical teams to gain further working knowledge of a projects lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in a 3rd level degree based on the AEC (Architectural Engineering & Construction) Sector

• An understanding of Engineering Design Principles.

• Working knowledge and experience with 3D modelling and 2D drafting of product designs i.e Revit, Autodesk ACC and AutoCAD.

• Experience with MS Office packages: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc
