We are seeking a Service Team Leader for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology (m/f/d) who will technically and disciplinarily lead a team of service technicians, coordinate their deployments, and ensure the technical quality of our service performance.
Lead & Develop: You will technically and disciplinarily lead a team of service technicians, conduct feedback and development discussions, and promote a motivating team culture. You will identify training needs and support the development of your employees – including participation in personnel selection.
Plan & Coordinate: In close collaboration with dispatch, you will efficiently plan deployments, ensure on-time delivery and quality standards, and support your team with technical challenges on-site. You will review service reports and ensure complete, clean documentation.
Manage Training & Development: You will organize internal training, first-aid refresher courses, and training on new products/technologies – practical and target-group oriented.
EHS Focus: You will ensure compliance with all EHS guidelines, conduct safety briefings, check work equipment, and implement safety audits with your technicians.
Interface & Quality Driver: You will work closely with dispatch, quality assurance, sales, and development, forward field experiences, and drive improvements.
Reporting & KPIs: You will regularly report to service/technical management, analyze KPIs, derive measures, and approve travel expenses. You will monitor times in the time recording system (e.g., VEDA) and ensure transparency.
What you bring:
Completed training in refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation technology, or comparable qualification · Several years of service practice, ideally with leadership experience in the field · Experience in deployment planning/control and confident handling of EHS requirements · Expertise in refrigerants according to ChemKlimaschutzV (Cat. I) · Proficiency in MS Office, ideally ticket/ERP systems · Valid driver's license class B · Independent, structured work approach and enjoyment of direct customer contact · Willingness to travel · Good German language skills in speaking and writing and basic knowledge of English for communication with international colleagues, documentation, and systems
