We are currently looking for a Project Engineering Thermal Engineer to join our dynamic team in Zagreb, Croatia!

Responsible for customized solutions for two main business sectors: Data Centers, and Telecom. Designing and developing modular buildings for customized solutions in accordance with highest standards and demanding requests. Mechanical design on projects (building heating, cooling and ventilation, plumbing and fire suppression systems). Integration with other disciplines; architectural, structural, electrical. Focus on general design, concepts, calculation, etc.

What kind of work will you be doing?

  • Cooperation with the design team in the development of CD (construction documentation) sets
  • Preparation of bill of quantity for the execution of works (equipping modules in the factory)
  • Ordering installation material
  • Preparation of manufacturing documentation
  • Engineering supervision and support when equipping modules in the factory (Rugvica)
  • Engineering support to service team and subcontractors
  • Involvement during the design stage trough content and constructability review, responsible for providing feedback (comments) to the design team.
  • Collaboration with the company operations team (project management, quality control, manufacturing, testing team and construction) in defining a project deployment strategy and executing the project
  • Managing the Construction Administration activities that include:
    • As Built Documentation
    • Installation Manuals
    • FAT procedures (L3)
    • Assisting with Punch list items
  • Collaborate with local Liebert service and Liebert Helpdesk to improve final product
  • Working on multiple parallel projects
  • Collaborate with local service to improve project implementation
  • Specifying Bill of Material and services required for project execution
  • Coordination with material and service suppliers during project execution

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master's in mechanical engineering (process and energy engineering, thermos technics, modeling and simulations)
  • 2+ years of experience on similar positions
  • Active user of: Windows, MS Office incl. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD
  • Proficient modeling skills required AutoDesk Autocad, good to have: Revit
  • Technical/practical skills: analytical, organizational, meticulous
  • English minimum B2 level

Physical and Environmental Demands:

  • Mix of work (Office, Factory & Site engineering support)

Time Travel Required:

  • 20-30%
