The Field Technician:
Responsible for preparing and executing interventions by gathering necessary documents, technical files, and parts while participating in preparatory meetings. You will plan and oversee interventions, commission equipment following procedures, and conduct electrical, mechanical, and functional tests. Your role includes performing electrical measurements, battery formatting, and equipment maintenance under service contracts. Additionally, you will diagnose and resolve faults, provide technical support, manage stock, and validate intervention reports. You will also handle Oracle debriefing, process orders, make technical recommendations, and assess customer spare parts inventory.

Technical skills:
• Ability to read technical manuals and make basic site evaluation skills to include: environmental temperature, and general operating conditions • Elementary fix/repair techniques based on directed supervision • Capable of completing tasks and return unit to full operating conditions based upon directed supervision • Ability to summarize and report all work related tasks performed
SAFETY:
• Operate in a safe manner in accordance with published safety guidelines • Must wear appropriate PPE as per company guidelines and accordance with job duties • Adhere to work hours policy guidelines – "14 hours rule" • Report all work related accidents or injuries within 24 hours to the appropriate personnel • Attend customer safety orientation visits as required
ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
• Working in environments that may have temperature variations and/or unheated areas. • Exposure to noise levels from machinery and equipment, although not necessitating hearing protection. • Working in areas with dust, debris.
TRAVEL:
• Travel is required.
