About The Role

We are looking for an Energy Efficiency Operations Specialist to join our Budapest team and support the delivery of energy efficiency projects across France and Spain. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented administrative role that plays a vital part in ensuring regulatory compliance and operational accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is early in their career and eager to grow within the environmental commodities space. About Operations

The Operations function at Vertis, encompassing Finance, IT, HR, and Middle Office, serves as the backbone of our organization. Working closely with all desks, the team ensures accurate execution, robust compliance, and scalable infrastructure for new products and markets. As part of this team, you'll contribute directly to the day-to-day efficiency and control of our fast-paced financial environment.

Our Middle Office and Deliveries team thrives on precision and collaboration. We are committed to maintaining high standards while supporting STX's ambitious global expansion. You'll join a group that values clear communication, ownership, and operational excellence.

We believe you will be great for this role if you have:

  • Fluent English, native-level French and Spanish required
  • 1-3 years' experience in operations, technical administration, or project coordination, ideally in the energy, utilities, or environmental services sector
  • Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and data handling
  • Solid communication skills and a proactive mindset
  • Ability to balance repetitive administrative tasks with problem-solving and prioritization
  • Hungarian work permit required

The Role's Core Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Provide delivery-related administrative support to the EE team in Lyon and Madrid: Verify orders, invoices, and documentation completeness; ensure files are ready for submission to national authorities
  • Customer Support: Act as contact point between counterparties and platform users; follow up on ongoing projects; solve issues in coordination with internal teams to maintain accuracy of the energy efficiency platform
  • Technical Documentation Review: Review projects to ensure projects meet regulatory requirements (ie. document completeness, traceability checks)
  • Partner Management: Support partner onboarding, monitor invoicing, oversee document review, and handle coding/bundling tasks
  • Data Extraction: Export and check data and provide required data sets to authorities and internal teams for reporting
