Bennington College invites applications for a Technology Support Specialist to join a dynamic and highly innovative IT team whose mission is to help fulfill the promise of a Bennington Education in all its forms by partnering to create world-class technology solutions for and with the Bennington College Community, working in support of a vibrant campus community. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for IT and Chief Information Officer, the Technology Support Specialist is responsible for the daily operation and efficiency of Bennington College’s Help Desk and technology resources, including, but not limited to, computer hardware, software, classroom media, network, and phone systems. The Specialist oversees and manages the Help Desk student staff within IT@Bennington and works within the student employment framework to ensure that student employees are well supported in their work. The Technology Support Specialist will coordinate with other members of the team to provide outstanding service to students, faculty, and staff, and facilitate the identification and adoption of a technology service model that will enhance Bennington College’s technology resource effectiveness and further the progressive education mission of the Institution.
