Student Services Specialist

This position is 20 hours per week. Coordinate and manage administrative activities that support the University of Vermont, the Rehabilitation and Movement Science (RMS) department, and the Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program clinical education. Manage activities that support fostering partnerships with clinical sites; initiating annual clinical education slot requests; orienting students to clinical education processes, timelines and software; providing clear and timely pre-clinical instructions/information to students and clinical sites; supporting OTD clinical education faculty and student advisors; managing, building and maintaining a clinical education database; distributing and collecting clinical education evaluations; collecting clinical education data for accrediting body reporting and end-of-semester program evaluation reporting; initiating, collecting and reconciling student health and training requirements for the OTD program; providing additional staff support for OTD program as needed. Some travel might be required to attend clinical software training.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience): Bachelor's degree with more than one year of relevant experience. Effective interpersonal organizational skills and communication skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in spreadsheet, database, word processing, and survey applications.

Desirable Qualifications Ability to prioritize effectively, work & make decisions independently and as part of a team. Capacity to navigate and utilize multiple software programs. Experience and knowledge of student information systems and education management platforms.

Anticipated Pay Range $24 - $26/hr
