Sales Representative

Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales, building relationships with new and existing clients, and promoting our range of textile products to meet or exceed revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and approach potential clients including manufacturers, designers, wholesalers, and retailers in the textile and fashion industries.
  • Promote and sell a variety of textile products such as fabrics, yarns, home textiles, or technical textiles.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with clients to close deals.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product samples.
  • Maintain relationships with key clients and provide after-sales support.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to generate leads.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and follow-ups using CRM software.

The Junior Sales Representative PPE Textiles supports the sales team in promoting technical fabric solutions for personal protective equipment to manufacturers, distributors, and end users. The role is suited to a motivated early-career salesperson who is keen to learn PPE standards, fabric performance characteristics, and customer applications while building strong, sales-oriented relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior sales staff in preparing quotes, proposals, and client presentations
  • Handle incoming inquiries and provide basic product information to customers
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, and activities in the CRM system
  • Follow up on sales leads through phone calls, emails, or social media outreach
  • Support trade shows, promotional events, or customer visits as required
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
  • Learn and apply company sales strategies, product knowledge, and customer service standards
